Sculptra

Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) filler and collagen stimulator. Sculptra can tighten the skin, fill facial hollows, replace lost volume, and slow the aging process. Sculptra acts a fertilizer deep beneath the skin, boosting collagen production and helping to restore your skin’s inner structure and volume. With a series of treatments (usually 2 vials per session), the remodeled collagen strands restore lost volume, provide fullness to smooth out wrinkles and folds, and gradually tighten the skin over the course of several months. Typically, patients can expect a vial of Sculptra per decade; in your 20s ~ 2 vials, 30s ~ 3 vials…

Sculptra Aftercare

Since Sculptra is a minimally invasive procedure, patients can return to work and normal activities on the same day as the treatment. Tenderness, redness, or bruising can occur in the treated area but will diminish within a week or two.

Please massage the areas injected with Sculptra 5 times a day for 5 minutes total for 5 days.

Sculptra functions to stimulate your body’s natural collagen production, so results appear gradually over several months. You can expect to enjoy your Sculptra enhancements for up to two years. Depending on your tailored treatment plan, more vials may be needed.
